⚔️ Clash of Clans Balance Update: April 2025 – Yeti, KANE, Giant the Giant & Disarmer Tweaks!
Clashers, a fresh balance patch has landed in the village, bringing a mix of nerfs and strategic shifts. Whether you're a seasoned war general or a casual raider, these changes are sure to shake up your attack plans and base defenses. Let’s break down the details:
This subtle but impactful change means fewer Yetimites per Yeti. Their explosive entry and chip damage just got a little less spammable.
But what does this mean in practice?
📦 Outside Yeti Clone Hits:
This nerf targets the popular outside clone strategy, where players cloned Yetimites to swarm outer defenses. It was especially strong at sniping critical buildings early. With the housing space doubled, you’ll now get half as many Yetimites from clone spells — making this trick far less effective.
💣 Yeti Clone Blimps:
In clone blimp drops, you used to get 2 Yetis + 6 Yetimites per clone. Now, it’s 2 Yetis + 3 Yetimites. Not a huge difference, but just enough that you might see 1–2 more buildings surviving, especially in tightly packed compartments.
These changes aren’t a death sentence for Yeti-based strategies, but you’ll definitely want to adapt your clone timing and placement moving forward.
KANE remains a powerhouse, but this nerf trims his early fight dominance. Expect slightly longer duels and fewer instances of him melting through enemy lines before the second form kicks in.
The mighty Giant takes a slight hit to both power and durability. It’s not a huge drop, but enough to shift high-level attack strategies, especially in time-sensitive pushes.
The Disarmer gets the biggest rework in this update, both offensively and defensively:
Attacking Disarmer:
Defending Disarmer:
This is a major shift. Offensively, Disarmer becomes less versatile and slightly easier to manage in the early phase of battles. Defensively though, its ability to respawn adds a new layer of durability to your base layouts—especially in war and legends.
This balance update leans into slowing down some of the most aggressive unit strategies while giving defenders more breathing room. It encourages smarter planning, more thoughtful unit combinations, and tighter control over when and how you deploy your key troops.
What do you think of the changes? Are they shaking up your war comps or pushing you to rethink your base layouts?
