Hello, chiefs ! I will share with you a few general ideas about a very important topic in the Clash of Clans Basebuilding world and that is – Loon Pathing!
Multi-inferno towers, scattershots, or even wizard towers are a huge threat to Loons, so basically you want to force the Loons into Defence Ring around your splash def, in this case, is multi inferno.
Here is another example with V – Shape pattern. Like in the previous example the goal is the same, making the Loon pathing around splash def. This kinda example works very well, especially on lower TH levels.
You wanna avoid having a too dense defense area as that gives good spell value, also those straight lines will make pathing super easy for attacker.
How to fix that? There are few ways, but the simplest one is making a dead zone between defenses. For example, builders can use dead zones to force Loon split and neutralize big spell value.
Speaking of Loons split, we can take look into Loon splitting points, which are basically spots in a base that will force loons to split around important defenses. This is important to have because it will make spells placements much much harder. Here is straight forward example ( Reversed V-Shape Pattern )
